A mom, a wife, and a baker make for a life of wholesome nonsense.
No matter what, I always have time to bake. Even if there are one hundred other things on my to do list, I will always be willing to make something sweet and tasty, whether its a custom cake or something just for my family. Here you'll see some of my favorite creations and orders with a little of my real life as a stay-at-home mom sprinkled in.

The Full Story
I have had the great fortune of being a stay-at-home mom and to be able to create some drool worthy treats for my family and others. I attended culinary school in 2013 after college because of my great love for baking. The initial idea was to someday open my own bakery but life had some other plans for me, which turned out to be the best part of my life. I became the mom of Fiona (2016) and David (2018). Those two kiddos make my world spin. My husband Tom and I decided that me being at home with the kids would be the best for our little family. While I'm not running around with the kids or just chasing Fiona around the house, I'm baking. I've always found comfort in baking and being able to share my creations with loved ones and now anyone!
The name Wholesome Nonsense is special to me because I think it best describes my life as a Mom, Wife, and baker. Most days I feel like if someone was to look at my daily life they would see nothing but nonsense but all of it is wholesome. As I'm writing this, I'm picturing that person seeing the oven timer going off for the past minute, Fiona dancing one second and the next climbing up the bookshelf, David starting to fuss a little because Fiona loves him a little too much, the dogs starting a game of wrestle right under my feet, and me thinking about what's for dinner, creating this website, organizing the house, taking photos, answering the door, pulling Fiona off the counter, picking up David, and letting the dogs in and out of the house. Like I said, Wholesome Nonsense.
I bake anything from a custom themed cake, wedding cakes, pies, decorated sugar cookies, tarts, muffins, and so much more!
